It was very quiet, very clean, and the location is interesting - there is a church right next to it (beware the bells every 15 minutes), the views are stunning, and on the way there are good viewpoints and some historical leftovers from the wars (tunnels, barricades).

Beautiful view from a very nice location. Not even the bad weather could ruin the atmosphere. We picked it up at the very last minute so we didn’t have any expectations but hoping it would deliver the basics, in terms of cleanliness and decent room. We found out the restaurant had good reviews, had dinner and again it exceeded the expectations. I had the 3 course meal including a home made tagliatelle with chanterelles (very good), fish fillet with veggies (good), and an orange infused tiramisu - first time I try a tiramisu out of the classic one or the one with berries and it was excellent. On top of it I loved the amouse bouche and the home made raffaellos. I would recommend this place with no doubts.

It is a very green and peaceful area with amiable and welcoming hosts. We were surprised by the welcoming drinks and general hospitality. We enjoyed the terrasse view and spent a lot of time sitting there outside. It feels great. There is a special guest kitchen in the house, where we could have tea and coffee, get some hot water, or use the microwave. This is very convenient as you can use it any time, even in a very early morning. This was important to me to get some breakfast at about 5-30 in the morning before the UTVV run. One thing need to mention about the hot water, you need to open it and wait for about 2-3 mins, relatively long, before it gets hot. Just so you know, I had to ask how to make it hotter. We enjoyed our time at Leban. The place I for sure recommend to stay.

If I could rate it higher than 10, I absolutely would! Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing, from the spotless cleanliness to the warm, genuine hospitality we received upon arrival. The host went above and beyond to make our visit truly special, and we can’t thank them enough. The entire house is stunning—both inside and out. It’s not just a place to stay, it feels like a work of art. Beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charm, it gave us a warm, welcoming feeling throughout our visit. It was simply the best experience, and we’re incredibly grateful. Thank you again!

Apartment was located in 3 apartment building for guests - during our stay we were the only ones, therefore nobody bother us or did we. The pool was great refreshment! Otherwise - quite remote area. The apartment had a conditioner in the main room. Bathroom is located next to sleeping room (so, no privacy for adults, if kids are walking through the room for bathroom :) ). The bathroom was quite warm place due to the water-boiler which heated up the room a lot, meanwhile the water stream was uneven from hot to cold, but it wasn`t too critical - maybe some upgrade for boiler would be needed. Kitchen rather small and basic - if hosts would place there some salt & sugar, it would be great :)

    We stayed here whilst walking the Alpe Adria trail. It had everything we needed and was clearly a favourite of the locals. Unfortunately we'd already eaten so didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg were the best of our holiday. They grew their own apricots and made wine. They left a couple of bottles in the room to sample on the house and they were delicious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.
