Feels like home, the house owner kept the place super clean. We didn’t expect that it’s in such a good location that we can enjoy the Chinese food in quite a few restaurants nearby. It’s close to Caltech university too if you’re interested to pay a visit. Also, the fig fruit from the owner’s tree is the best I have ever had:)

The Patrician is a unique place. You need to have a car to get there, but once you are there, you have an incredible view and very quiet and safe surroundings. Most important about The Patrician is TJ, the owner. He runs this place with love and dedication, is always there if you need support, prepares a wonderful breakfast, and is one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!

Check-in is easy, all through codes at door. I didn't get to see anyone except for other guests from other rooms - since bathroom is shared. Internet is good enough. Quiet place. Easy to park on the street, either right in front or across from the house. Didn't seem dangerous though because it's in a residential area. The view of the mountains, when you leave by car, is really cool. Host offers coffee pods (black coffee) and tea bags with machine for hot water. Also, bottled water room temperature. After all, I felt safe.
