Check-in is easy, all through codes at door. I didn't get to see anyone except for other guests from other rooms - since bathroom is shared. Internet is good enough. Quiet place. Easy to park on the street, either right in front or across from the house. Didn't seem dangerous though because it's in a residential area. The view of the mountains, when you leave by car, is really cool. Host offers coffee pods (black coffee) and tea bags with machine for hot water. Also, bottled water room temperature. After all, I felt safe.

Peaceful, safe and calm neighborhood. As we stayed with the owner's family, we could share a lot, and it was a wonderful memory to be with them. Tho is also a mother of teenagers, so I really enjoyed talking with her as a mother. They kindly lend us some tools and give us something nice. Thanks to their kindness, we could overcome some inconveniences. She taught us Japanese stores in their neighborhood. As I really wanted to experience real local lives in the US, it was perfect for me and I could learn a lot. If we had been staying at a hotel, we wouldn't never have had such a special friendship and comfort. As we get used to cook in our own country and we wanted to follow healthy diet and save money, it was nice for us to cook at their house instead of going to restaurants so often. One of us could play the piano freely at the house, which was also great.
