Beautiful place, amazing views. You'll sleep just in front of China border. Incredible friendly hosts. Clean, quiet, hot water, good food, tea. Everything was perfect. This homestay really worth more than 10/10. If you're a traveler, who doesn't look for 3-5 star hotels, this Laco Homestay is for you. Family will take care of you, feed you. Very well positioned near the lung cu flag post. Quaint Homestay with an interesting design and nice courtyard. Breakfast is a la cart but was yummy - sticky rice with chicken and egg.

You get to stay in a traditional hmong village, which to me was really cool. There are many families, children, animals...and you get to see their real daily life. There is a beautiful view and restaurant area. We ate dinner and had the free breakfast (noodle soup with vegetables and egg from their farm). We were the only ones in the dorm room. The room is basic but this is how they live, we slept fine. We had a hot shower. It was clean. The host speaks English but the families don't, so you're not able to really communicate, but you are able to see them and observe and they are welcoming and friendly. We were doing the Hà Giang loop. This place was great for us because we were looking for a more authentic experience, we didn't want to be with a majority of tourists, which can easily happen when doing the loop.

    Very authentic homestay experience deep into a Hmong village. The host is very personable and entertaining. The family dinner here was our favorite we had on the Ha Giang loop thanks to some really good company. We slept in the dorm but found it quite comfortable and thought the curtains did a good job dividing the sleeping areas.
