Lovely owner operators are so friendly and welcoming, they really went beyond the call to help me with my travel plans and were just a huge part of the absolutely gorgeous atmosphere of this beautiful place. The room itself is perfectly cozy and spotlessly clean. It was convenient and comfortable in every way for me. My only regret is not being able to stay there longer . Next time! Oh and the food was divine!

In the city there are not many options of restaurants and stores as it is a small town - but the people in the Villa Maile really helped us to find good options.

The owner I met on my last day offered me to go surfing on my next stay. I would definitely recommend this for those looking to stay in one of Salvador's nicest neighborhoods.
