Most importantly, the hosts (Ricardo and Katcha) are wonderful people who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. If you go to Alter, stay here, it's clean, quiet, secure. Owners are fabulous and breakfast is interestingly delicious. Great TV and hammocks in the foyer. Highly recommended. You may even get the wild monkeys outside the window in the forest that wake you for breakfast.
