I cannot express how much I am grateful to find this place! This apartment was just chef's kiss to our already amazing Switzerland experience. I would 100 percent recommend and very willing to come back again. 1. Clear check in/out instruction: Host provided a clear instruction on check in prior to our visitation. He even provided a video on how to open main doors and obtain keys. I was traveling with elder parents and it was dark and cold. Because of the clear instruction, we successfully checked in without a single issue. Check out guideline was also on the wall in the kitchen. We followed as instructed and left without any hustle 2. Very clean and tidy 3. Heater: All heaters were working and kept us warm from Interlaken's cold weather. We turned them off when we are getting out for the day and turn them back on when we come back. It warmed the room pretty quickly. And also helped drying our small laundry items super fast! 4. Location: It was less than 5 min walk from both grocery market and the train/bus stations. Host even provided us with the interlaken pass where we can ride Yellow bus and some trains within interlaken for free! So we had no proble using public transportation around to explore the city. We fell in love with the city and this place was part of the BIG reason we fell in love. I will definitely come back here again during my next trip to Switzerland!

A wonderful place to stay tucked in a beautiful and quaint little village. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Loved roaming around the village. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Anne was very nice and so helpful with instructions getting here by bus. Highly recommend this perfect little spot away from the crowds for a truly Swiss experience in the alps.

In the heart of Interlaken, Downtown Family&Friends has mountain views from the terrace. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. i really love my stay here! the staff gave us a free change from room with shared bathroom to a whole damn appartement for the two of us!!! definitely the best experience

You can play table tennis at the homestay. A baby safety gate is also available at Apartment Lala, while guests can also relax in the garden. We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Lala. Daniela is very sweet and helpful and is an amazing host. She stays in the apartment below and is available in case we need any help. She is available via phone and messages whenever we need. She showed us around the apartment and explained everything when we checked in. She was also kind enough to store our luggage after check out (our flight was later in the evening). She even carried our heavy luggage down the stairs and left it out for us to collect it near the main entrance to the apartment, which was very sweet of her. The apartment is very comfortable. There were sufficient vessels and dishes for basic cooking. There is a coffee machine with amazing coffee (The coffee pods were provided). There is also a toaster and microwave oven with grilling facility. The bed is very comfortable. The view from the apartment is gorgeous! The Interlaken guest card is provided after checking in and is valid for your length of stay. The usage of public transport within the Interlaken area is free of cost with this card. The nearest bus station is just 2 mins away and is named "fussweg spital". The Interlaken West train station is 10 minutes walk from the apartment or 2 stops away by bus. The apartment is very near to the hospital (Spital Interlaken). There is a side gate entrance which is closer to the apartment than the main entrance especially when you have heavy luggage.

The free bus pass that also doubles as a discount pass for certain activities on the Interlaken/Thun area is also a great touch and makes travel by bus all the easier and at no extra cost. When doing activities mention the card to save some money before paying for the activity such as visiting Thun Castle. There was also a fan included within the room which made up for not having control over air conditioning or an overhead fan. The owner who's phone number can be accessed via WhatsApp is also very kind and responsive. She was wonderful!

The Bärengraben is within 50 km of the guest house. The property is non-smoking and is set 26 km from Giessbachfälle. Our room faced the lake, so the view was excellent. The parking lot was a short ~2 minute walk from the front of the hotel. The hotel was very pretty (we were in the older + more traditional wing, which we loved). There was a small cafe attached to the hotel by the water. NOTE -- the hotel is in a very small village without much in the way of local food options. This wasn't a problem for us since we had a car, but might pose a challenge for travellers getting around by train (there is a train that stops in the village but it might mean that you have to wait a bit to get into Interlaken for breakfast).
