Silvana was a wonderful host. She prepared a to-go breakfast for us when we went to see the penguins along with preparing a delicious hot breakfast for us on the other days of our trip. The beds were comfy and overall the hostal was very clean. The location is good and close to the center of town. Overall, loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Felt more like visiting a friend’s place than a hostel. Pedro, Daniel, and Gustavo were super welcoming, and treated me more like a family than a guest. They were very helpful with giving me tips and ideas on what to do in the area especially during the off season. The facility is also clean and cozy. The kitchen has great amenities for cooking while also having a great view from the window! Would highly recommend staying here!

I stayed five days, in two hostels and an appartment. All were great. Lago Condor (main hostel) has excellent and cosy decoration, super comfortable room, nice breakfast. Helpful and cheerful staff. Helped also with booking a horse riding trip and a day tour to Torres del Paine. Location really close to bus station (and therefore a bit further from the town centre).

There was a tv in the room with Netflix, and the wi fi worked perfectly. The casa was in a good location, around a 10 minute walk from the Bus Sur bus station and the tourist Cemetery. The waterfront could be seen from the casa and was around a 5 minute walk. From there, by walking along to the right along the waterfront you can see several landmarks, and end up in the city. The kitchen had good facilities if you want to cook for yourself, and a very nice breakfast was included, served by Felipe. My favourite thing in this accommodation was the cat Chiddy, she is never in the way, but is a lovely friendly cat! The journey to the airport was only about 20 minutes in an Uber, and Felipe was there to help me ensure the Uber arrived at the right place.

Although he doesn't speak much English he sent a list by WhatsApp of recommended restaurants, places of interest, etc And used Google translate frequently. Large comfortable warm room with clean ensuite. Lots of extra toiletries, hair-dryer etc. It is an easy 20 min downhill walk to the town center. And Fabien was only too willing to come and give us a lift (ride) back after dinner. Enjoyed our moments of 80's in-car karaoke!
