Super friendly and serviceminded host, employees and host family. Beautiful traditional guesthouse in a quiet street inside the walls of the old city. The breakfast was very nice, the backyard was very well decorated and calming. Our taxi driver from the train station called the guesthouse, so the owner came and picked up the luggage into the ancient city. Highly recommended . Thank you. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

Like living in ancient times, but with modern facilities. Lovely architecture and very thoughtful interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location. Nice touch of providing fruits and snacks in the room and unique takeaway items.

Wonderful family - all very helpful and speaking excellent English. Breakfast is delicious. Location is just perfect. The yards and the common areas are as if you were in a set of an ancient China’s movie.
