This is a lovely place with a private deck on the ocean. It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

Logement idéal ! Kim et Flo, les gérants, n’ont pas seulement le sens de l’accueil, ils sont attentifs, attentionnés et particulièrement sympathiques ! Ils m’ont conseillés de nombreux endroits, m’ont aidée lors d’une difficulté. Un capital humain rare et précieux… L’emplacement est parfait, les chambres sont confortables, tout est à disposition. Cadre verdoyant, même en restant au sein de l’établissement vous aurez la possibilité d’observer pas mal d’animaux. Que dire de plus, n’hésitez pas !

Elisa and her mother were wonderful hosts! Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊
