Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)

The location is excellent, and we loved the roof terrace with its beautiful views over Mindelo. Our room was equipped with both a/c and a fan, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was spotlessly clean. Christophe was a great host and Cristina was especially helpful with making restaurant reservations and arranging a taxi. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous place to stay in Mindelo. Safe neighborhood and close to the center (10 min walk). The actual property is a room with ensuite bathroom inside a bigger apartment where also family lives on the premises. The kitchen and living room are shared. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. Also for a modest extra charge it's possible to eat dinner/late lunch with the family. This is highly recommended as the most of Mindelo restaurants are closed during daytime and the restaurant food is mostly mediocre anyway. The homemade dinners are freshly prepared and tasty, excellent value for money. The owner Antonio is very helpful and a great source of local advise and knowledge. Many thanks to the owner for helping me with many practical tasks while in Mindelo, it would take me a lot more time and effort to figure it out by myself. Would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are in Mindelo, look no further.
