Located in the historical centre of Znojmo in a reconstructed building dated back to the 15th century, Penzion Kaplanka is set 400 metres from the castle and houses a wine bar. We walked from the train station. The hotel is located in the historic old town in a very historic building with a great view of the countryside and the river. It is very near the pedestrian streets and the market. Close by is a fine restaurant in the local brewery. The hotel is altogether very nice.

Our stay was very pleasant. Everything was in order, the room was fine, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay. The location is really nice, surrounded by vineyards and grape fields. The stay met all our expectations and was good value for the price!

The check in was very smooth, a good coffee after the trip was exactly what we needed The room was spacious and clean, the bed were very comfortable. New clean apartments. Nice location in the wine area with lots of wineries in the same street. We came late and asked beforehand if there where somewhere to eat. The owner cooked some food for us which we drank together with their wine. That was a very lovely experience and the owner and his wife was the most kind people there is.
