The location was perfect for hiking. I came by public transport and found that I did not need a car to get around. I was able to walk just a few meters and I was on a hiking trial. But take note of the bus timetable if you want to go further, they are not very frequent. The breakfast was amazing and there was even enough food left over to create a sandwich for lunch on my hike. The restaurant food was also delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was peaceful and the perfect atmosphere for a back to nature, hiking trip.

The hosts were attentive and warm and gave me great tips on where to explore. The room was perfectly sized for solo travel, and located close to the town center Koenigstein, as well as the train station and ferry. I recommend staying at this cozy and quiet location for those travelling solo or with a partner.
