Beautiful room, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with local eggs, homemade breads & jams. Ellen & Christoph are great hosts and made our stay a lot easier from local knowledge, providing bicycles, help drying clothes and a cup of tea after a wet cycle. They were very welcoming, considerate, and accommodating. All at a very reasonable price. The location is beautiful, from the view out the room to any direction you turn stepping outside, it was amazing scenery. A great spot for nature lovers, my morning vape in the front garden was a bird watching delight. Nighttime was quiet and with a little patience a few bats to see. Coming from the city, clear night's were amazing. With so much to see in the night sky! Cycling from Wahmbeck to Lippoldsberg via Bodenfelde is idyllic. There are a couple of great restaurants within a short cycle of the Landhaus all a very short distance from the idyllic Wahmbeck to Lippoldsberg journey. Both Lippoldsberg and Bodenfelde have supermarkets for picking up lunch water etc. for your cycles. Handy for any trips east or south.
