The guest house is 400 metres from Barcelona's Plaza Universitat and the Rambla is 10 minutes’ walk away. The location was excellent as it's walking distance from most of the places of interest, and close to bus stops and underground metro stops. There are plenty of small markets that open 24/7 just a few corners away. Although they don't serve food, there are dozens of very good eating establishments in the area and the super friendly reception staff will be happy to give recommendations. You can borrow a kettle and iron from reception with a deposit (which you get back on return) and there's a kettle and free water and tea in the lobby. The staff is very friendly and we had an amazing experience speaking with them and getting to know about things to do in Barcelona. We were so thankful to Leonel who always suggested great places and looked things up for us. Antonio was also super sweet, and learned to greet us in our language. The rooms were clean and the facilities worked as they should. Having an air conditioner in the room was also very nice and you could set it however you want (unlike most places we've stayed at). I would definitely recommend it there :)

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. It’s on perfect location, close to the city and the beach as well. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. It was the perfect stay.

He place between all shopping area, just down you can find a supermarket, walking distance to airport bus. The hostel is very nice clean, once you enter you will meet this very nice lady and the owner of the hotel. The room space is v good, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom is good in space very clean with hair blower. There is a common room were you can rest and do coffee and tea , also microwave is available. When I woke up next day and went to do a coffee I saw this small bag were my name one , and waw a cake and juice . Sooooo confederate and warm. I love the place.

With a terrace, the 2-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. If I had the chance, I would give Manuel 10 stars! Very kind, friendly, helpful, responsive! The rooms were spacious enough, very clean. There are restaurants, the sea and shops nearby. We were only in transit, so I can't say whether it is suitable for a long stay and relaxing by the sea. We were also advised of free parking nearby, although I don't know if it is as freely available during the season.
