Hostal Plaza Mayor is located on El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and features accommodation in Carrión de los Condes. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free bicycle parking and Motorcycle is available. Free public parking is available nearby. It was very central to the Plaza Mayor and the ladies that worked there were a mine of information regards local amenities and knowledge of the area , they spoke excellent English and they were very kind throughout. There was an excellent shower and the beds were comfy, wifi was constant throughout.

Firstly, Emanuel, who runs the place is exceptional. He made us feel like we were going to a luxury hotel. Secondly it's not a hostel, it's a lot more. And the we get there and Emanuel welcomes us, gives us all the info we need to make sure we have a fantastic stay in Salamanca. Location is just amazing.. 2 minute walk to the main square. And 5 minutes to Van Dyke (Emanuel sent us there for dinner as it's where the locals go to eat), and my god was the food amazing. Strongly recommend that, and you will avoid the tourist traps. Parking abundant around the hostel. We will definitely be back. And thanks Emanuel !!!!
