Sally, the wife of Miguel, explained to us that the house was pretty new. Furthermore, Sally had been more than kind with me and friends. She took care of us as if we were her own family, making us feel very comfortable, welcomed and at home. So much so, we didn't want to leave. The Casa itself is very spacious and has many rooms and beds. All the rooms a lock on the door and have a private bathroom. The garden is also very big. For those on the Camino de Santiago (french way), Sally and Miguel offer a pick up/drop off service from and to the Mansilla de Las Mulas. BIG PLUS: the Casa is actually situated near the Dutch Way of the Camino. It is a slightly shorter and charming route which brings you straight to León. Ask Miguel and Sally, they will not hesitate to give you all the information needed of that route. Me and my friends' stay there was excellent, we definitely recommend.
