We were warmly welcome by the tenants, very nice and accomodating people. The location was exactly as described. The room was in a nice house in stones, in the middle of a small village. Isolated and then perfect for people who likes it quiet, Also accomodating pets, which is nice for people travelling with animals. We enjoyed the garden and the balcony, and the nice breakfast (included in the price) with fresh bread and croissants. We recommend for anyone wanting to stay away from busy towns and still having a nice room and good company if wished as there are other guests in 4 other rooms. One takes the breakfast all together, one can also having diner and interesting activities: discovery of the surrounding and clockwork mechanism (former job of the tenants). It´s not far away from Beaune proposing many activities. We recommend.

Very comfortable room and nice bathroom. Breakfast was superb!!! Alain, Beatrice and Johannes were very welcoming and helpful hosts. When we asked about local restaurants, not only did they recommend places but called the restaurants to make reservations, which was very much appreciated.

Boasting free bikes and views of river, La Ferme de Plénoise Chambre & Table d'hôtes is a recently renovated guest house situated in Fricambault, 33 km from Girodet Museum. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Our accommodation here was like a fairy tale and I must admit that it was the most beautiful thing I experienced in France this stay. We arrived at a beautiful place, a farm, with animals, cows and dogs all around. We were greeted by a young and very nice owner who runs the farm with her mother and brother. She immediately offered us a three course dinner for a small extra charge, an aperitif and wine of our choice, all prepared by her, she cooked it was a lovely home made treat. We chatted into the night, I felt like I was in a loving family in a fairy tale. The room was like a castle, clean, everything we needed was there, the bathroom was also great, there were even some toiletries, a clean and ironed towel, plenty of warm water to shower and relax. The bed was nice and I had the best sleep I've had in a long time. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with local food - cheese, marmalade, fresh croissants, coffee, homemade dessert... If I could, I would spend another night or maybe a week or a year in that place. I didn't even want to leave. So I highly recommend it.

Les Divines is close to everything you need, and far away enough from it all to really feel relaxed. The pool was the perfect relief during a heatwave, and the main building stayed cool during the days. The hospitality of our hosts was 10/10, especially starting each day with a full breakfast service, plentiful with local fruits, cheeses, croissants, and jams made themselves. Extensive knowledge and welcomed recommendations gave us great ideas for activities each day, as well as enough space on the property to pass the day away doing nothing.
