The room exceeded expectations. Our host Paul is so thoughtful and you can see it in the small details in the house. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the house is very stylish and the location is close to the center of the village and Gorges du Verdon.

My wife in particular enjoyed relating to the hostess, watching her prepare meals, talking about the produce. Garden fresh. Natalie was very friendly and engaging, and was ever ready to help with travel advice in the area. It was quiet and peaceful yet the restaurants of nearby towns were easily reached. It is in the country so a car is a necessity. Parking, 350 hectares…no problem.

We loved this property! It's a beautiful, out-of-the way gem. The house is very tastefully decorated and landscaped, the guest rooms and pool area are comfortable, and the hosts couldn't be more gracious. We travel a lot, and I don't hesitate to say that La Maison des Collines tops our list of favorites. My only regret is that we saved this spot for the last weekend our trip to France and wish we had stayed here longer.

At the end of a narrow road, you find this gem of a B&B. The rooms are basic, but clean and you have to prepare your own meals in the common but lovely kitchen area. The very best of the stay is the hospitality of Pascal and his wife Nancy who runs the place, the gorgeous view and all the nice people that you meet at breakfast and evening meals. Just outside the doorstep there are lovely trails passning by that are worth trying out.
