When we arrived the couple booked a restaurant for us in a nearby town which was great. Would love to come back again. Added bonus was the friendly dog that my son adored. What a gem!

The owner is around but not in a negative way. Also, the garden is very nice to sit by with a Trappist beer and a salad from Carrefour. There are several cats, but I like cats so not a problem. Great shower, there is also a bath. Great place to stay for a night or two in Dole, which is a charming town.

The donkeys! Also, the shower in the room is something incredible. It’s more like a shower “experience” bc it’s a self contained shower that can have hot water hitting you from the sides. Just was wonderful. The owners are wonderful to talk with and have made lovely “retreats” within the garden. Wish I’d had more time to explore this lovely area.
