Situated in Belper and only 31 km from Chatsworth House, Callwood Farm Annex Guest Rooms features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is located 36 km from Nottingham Castle and offers luggage storage space. The property is allergy-free and is set 32 km from Donington Park. The room was spacious with clearly defined areas. It was equipped with microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, and the simple breakfast provided was welcome (with the opportunity of also having toast for supper!). We didn't see our hosts, but they had thoughtfully provided information on local pub menus and walking trails. We were told that the key would be in the lock upon arrival, however, we did end up calling our host to help us get in, but that's because we simply were not pushing the handle down hard enough (thought the door was locked!). Press a little harder - it's one of those UK doors where you have to lift the handle before locking, and push down past the lock resistance point to open... they're more basic where we are from in Australia! If you are tall, you may need to duck to get through the low door, but the ceiling height is normal once inside. It was lovely to open the curtains in the morning to see the horses pop their heads out of the stable doors. Plenty of parking on site. Altogether a great 2-night stay.

The communication from the Roseleigh prior to our stay was exceptional and kept us fully informed including during the afternoon of our arrival to let us know our room was available early. Gerard was very knowledgeable about the local area and was able to update us on the history of the spa and its buildings. Our room overlooked the pavilion gardens and was very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast menu at the Roseleigh was excellent with a wide range of options available. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful and all in all we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
