We had a wonderful stay! The hosts speak perfect English and are incredibly kind and helpful — always available to guide us and offer great suggestions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and we slept amazingly well. This is quite rare in Karimunjawa, where nighttime can be noisy due to prayer speakers — here, instead, we found true peace and quiet. We had originally planned to stay only three nights before moving elsewhere, but if we could go back, we’d definitely spend our whole time at Loyal Friend. It truly felt like home. The location is excellent: just a short distance from both the center and the harbor. We also rented a scooter at a very fair price — it was in great condition and gave us no issues at all. This is a special place that we’ll always carry in our hearts, and we recommend it wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

One of the highlights of my stay was exploring hidden gems with the host and being introduced to many locals in the area, who were all very friendly. These experiences were something I would have missed had I been on my own. I’m grateful for the hospitality and experiences that made my stay truly exceptional.

We are a family of three staying with Floating Paradise for 4 days. It's been an incredible experience! If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-track and relaxing stay, this is you destination. The owners Tono and Astrid are going out of their way to accommodate you and so will the kind staff. Upon arriving, we received an upgrade to the newly built family room, which features two separate rooms within the bungalow. Kayaking is free and great fun to explore the nearby mangroves, the small island ahead and Bobby Beach on the other side of the laguna. Snorkeling is fantastic here, as the coral reef can be found literally outside the bungalows. On the second day, we went on a boat trip to other islands, where we snorkelled at multiple gorgeous locations and ate lunch on a pristine and remote island - it was such an amazing day! The third day, Astrid took us onto a fun hike which rewarded us with breathtaking views over the island, ending at Bukit Love viewpoint. We also took advantage of Astrid being a certified Yoga teacher, having yoga lessons right by the dock as the sun set over the laguna - you really can't beat this setting. Our final day marked the end of Ramadan, so the entire family went out of their way and took us to town for a fun parade organized by the island community. A truly memorable experience! Thanks a bunch for your hospitality, we are leaving the island refreshed and with much love in our hearts.

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. The bungalows are absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable for the concept. The bed and aircon will assure a great night sleep and the pool is small but absolutely beautiful (the views are amazing!!). The whole place is decorated beautifully and it really feels like a little piece of paradise. Bobby (the host) is sweet and very attentive and made us a beautiful floating breakfast the first morning we were there - an amazing experience. The sorrounding landscape and villages are just stunning too. I wished we had stayed longer!
