Situated in Pulau Mansuar, Nyande Raja Ampat provides accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. The guest house features sea views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Property We had stayed 7 nights. The guest house was very comfortable with beautiful landscaped walking paths. Andy, the man behind the design and build of the property, sets high standards for the building of the property and his team, with the result that this is a rare gem of a place. The showers have good water pressure and there are flush toilets! Each room also has its own dedicated toilet and shower so there’s no need to share with the other guests, which can be helpful when we need to rush for early morning excursions. Electricity is avail all day long due to the use of solar power and there were hardly any flies or mosquitoes which was great as it meant we could lounge around without the use of mosquito nets (though those were provided). We saw mantas 3 times on excursions to Manta Ridge and the highlight was a full day trip to the Fam Islands (eg Piaynemo, Melissa’s Garden and and Rufas Island) where the sights were breathtaking. The house reef was also great with schools of fish, turtles, sea snakes, moral eels…We swam to the neighboring jetty where we saw a number of black-tipped sharks and saw cuttlefishes at another neighbouring jetty so lots to explore around the area. Also wanted to make special mention of Meg, the resident dog who very responsibly accompanied us whenever we go for longer walks to other parts of the island and she also warns off potential intruders! Food Every meal was delicious (especially lunch and dinner) with lots of veggies and fruits. Hot water with tea and coffee is always available and cold beer can be purchased! Crew Esni is the life of the party and very experienced in reading the currents and finding mantas! She makes sure everyone is well-taken care of during excursions. Jody who helps with the excursions was also amazing, accompanying us on the short hikes to see the sights and taking the initiative to help us climb over the tougher spots.

Paparisa Homestay is located in Kri. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service.

Guests at Paparisa Homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kri, like hiking. Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!

It was just absolutely amazing stating there, cause the reef just simply started over our water Bungalows! No need to book any excursions, beside Fam island, cause you had turtles, reef sharks, even mantas so very close! So loved to stay with that family! The son went out spearfishing for a nice meal ... would love to come back, no better place to snorkeling like 6 hours a day 🤩😊😘. Thanks a lot 😘😘😘

Located in Besir in the West Papua region, Nyanse Homestay - Raja Ampat features a terrace.

The homestay offers bed linen, towels and laundry service.

Guests at the homestay can enjoy an Asian breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. There is a coffee shop, and packed lunches are also available. This homestay was the best ever, I would always put it in my list when coming back to RA, it feels like we have them as friends and family there! I don’t know where to start, apart from the absolutely stunning views on the oceanfront pier and balconies, especially during sunset and sunrise, I really have to highlight the food - it was always incredible, especially the veggies just wow. The breakfast and the deserts (fruit) was usually calculated with about 2 pieces per person if there were more people staying at the homestay, but that was fine since they also have an afternoon snack every day! Me and my partner are freedivers, so we were looking for spots between 3-20 meters with the main objectives to see mantas, sharks and turtels, and the family did its best with helping us planning the trips. All of the we did with the homestay and it was great, they always brought lunch and coffee and you could really see they enjoy being in the water and with the marine life as well. We went to Manta Sandy, Tangjung Putus, and Mansuar and all of them were great, yet in Mansuar there was loads of trash in the water (like generally around Kri and north of RA during rainy time) which is really a big downer and will hopefully change at some point. After having stayed also on Kri island, I know now that Nyanse Homestay is one of the cleanest places and their housereef is usually quite clean as well. Of course the corals there are not as great as the spots you go with a boat because they are also more exposed to sun and heat, but we saw a great amount of colorful and different fish as well as a turtle and 2 water snakes (watch out they are highly poisonous but they do not attack if you leave them alone, also some other divers told me they are so small so they could only potentially bite where the skin is very thin like the ears, so all good ;) ) Now the best thing - every single one of the family is such a warm soul. They even helped me prepare a surprise for my partner’s birthday

The area is popular for Birdwatching and sightseeing tours can be arranged. This homestay has water sports facilities and car hire is available. You can engage in various activities, such as snorkeling and canoeing. The property offers diving facilities onsite. Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Don’t compare it to any other parts of Indonesia (certainly not...
