He acted as our guide to see Komodo Dragons and the surrounding Islands, which was an amazing experience. Georgio was very knowledgeable on the Dragons and his family was very hospitable. If you want an authentic experience then this is for you.

The accommodation offers luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out for guests. Friendly host, amazing location, once in a lifetime trip. You will get places in the national park all to yourself before and after the boat tours leave. We saw so many dragons, sea turtles, manta rays, and other wildlife. The home was very comfortable and food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking to explore the national park in a unique way- so much better than the boat tours. Note: bring 1-2 quick dry towels with you for the beach and shower. It’s also worth mentioning it’s a shared bathroom if there are other guests in the homestay. It wasn’t an issue, but I didn’t know before booking.

The family who hosted us was very kind and helped arrange a local boat to take us to different beaches and snorkeling spots that were absolutely gorgeous (like manta point and pink beach). The host is a ranger at Komodo National Park and gave us a wonderful tour. It was very special to stay in the Muslim village on the sea and have a glimpse of life there. Everyone was very friendly and warm.
