A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms offer mountain views while others feature glacier views. Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay

Rooms are brightly decorated at Hof 1 Hotel and have either shared or private bathrooms. Excellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.
