The facilities were good eg dishwasher, nice seating areas, dining area. There was a lovely balcony.

It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

There is parking on-site and the property offers an electric vehicle charging station. This was our favorite accommodation in the Westfjords. First of all, the price matched the quality, which allowed to accommodate two couples. We enjoyed the sounds of the sea coming from the ocean and the swim at nearby thermal natural pool. Hotel Breidavik is situated in Breiðavík. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. We were hiking over the mountains for four days and came to this unique place by foot. Five stars to the kind italian guy working there that made us feel very welcomed. The place is charming and retro - could be in a David Lynch movie - but in a good way. Fantastic atmosphere at the end of the world. Great soundtrack in the restaurant and the food was good too. The bed was comfortable and the room had a spectacular view to the ocean and the cliffs.
