The loveliest welcome with homemade Setouchi lemonade 🍋 by and such a warm introduction by this wonderful couple to this beautiful modern apartment on the sea front. Perfect space with a kitchen and everything you could need to cook. The owners even recommended places to eat nearby. So thoughtful, kind and a leaving present of a Japanese fan to stay cool. I would love to return for longer next time.

Koji is the most generous owner and genunely welcome to help. He picked us up from the port and even picked us up from another port in the night time (we survived from the most adventurous journey - thankful to Koji!). Talk about the place: the guesthouse is cozy and warm. The shared facilities included kitchen and washing machine. The price of ramen and washing pods are the same price in the convenience store and may be cheaper. E-bikes are also provided with the cheap rate (1000 yen/day).

This is the BEST guest house we've stayed in during our time in Japan. It is spacious, modern, immaculate, and comfortable. We cooked a lovely dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (there is a grocery store within walking distance). There were a few condiments and other things should you need just a bit of something. We also did laundry (hung some outside and some in the bathroom with this neat air heating machine). The shampoo and hand soap is absolutely lovely and worth a mention. There are a couple fun extras like a mini ping pong table and a tiny gaming console. Shin is a lovely and kind host, providing route and sightseeing recommendations. We only wish we had stayed longer!

We went biking and stopped for the night here,about half way. Good location,directly next to the biking path,few biking minutes to the next store. Nicely modernised old house with charm,not too many room so it was a nice atmosphere amongst the guests. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and there was a free washing machine and dryer.Staff speak little English but are very well prepared (written explanation cards) and super friendly! Thanks a lot! Totally recommend!

Tout, mais particulièrement l’accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, qui en plus parle bien l’anglais. Elle fait tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Elle nous a conduit au bain public après une journée de vélo. Elle offre un petit déjeuner et elle est très attentive à nos besoins. Ce fut un plaisir de la rencontrer et je lui donnerais 15/10

L’établissement Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo est idéalement situé dans le quartier Dogo Onsen de Matsuyama, à respectivement 900 mètres, 1,2 km et 1,7 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Joshin-ji Temple,... Super petit hostel juste à côté du célèbre Onsen, le personnel extrêmement gentil, chambre traditionnelle japonaise avec vue sur les toits 🙌🏻

L’établissement Grandma's island Home Hakata - Matsusaki inn 島のおばあちゃんち宿伯方 - 松崎旅館 vous accueille à Hakata-jima, à 39 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Gramma's Place was a unique and extraordinary experience, like visiting a beloved relative rather than staying at a hotel. The whole family was incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and beautifully kept in traditional Japanese style, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day of cycling. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we had a wonderful night's sleep. We also opted for dinner, and we’re so glad we did. Every dish was exquisite and beautifully presented, you could really feel the love and care that went into preparing the meal. Breakfast was just as good. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone cycling the Shimanami Kaido. It’s not just a place to rest, it’s a highlight of the journey.

L’établissement いわしの子守唄 Sardine Lullaby se trouve à Matsuyama, à 2 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine. Un séjour parfait dans cet hôtel ! Le lieu est vraiment superbe, les futons sont extrêmement confortables et assurent un sommeil de qualité. Le petit-déjeuner est à la fois ultra copieux et délicieux, un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. Enfin, le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours attentif et bienveillant. Je recommande vivement cet établissement ! 🌟
