This place was incredible, I booked it last minute as my wife was arriving late and we were travelling by camper so I wanted her to get a good rest. The location feels off grid but it's only a few minutes from Tadao Ando's Water Temple at Honpukuji. It's a exquisitely renovated Minka (old style Japanese home) with a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary. The couple that runs it are so nice. They also have a pottery atelier that they spend their days making wares at and have a nice gallery shop that you can purchase. I recommend the ocean view room. Sunrise was gorgeous. I would return to Awaji just to stay here again.

L’établissement Japanese Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo (Female Only) bénéficie d’un emplacement de choix dans le quartier Kinosaki Onsen de Toyooka, à respectivement 4,2 km, 4,8 km et 5,1 km de ces lieux... La maison est située non loin de la rue principale et proche de tous les commerces. Il y a une pente mais légère. A l’arrivée Mizuho s’assure de tout bien m’expliquer concernant la carte avec les onsens, les fonctionnalités de la maison, les horaires etc. Elle a apporté mes bagages jusqu’au deuxième étage de la maison ce qui est très aimable !! La chambre privée est propre et grande et très charmante. Le chauffage fonctionne en hiver mais il fait un peu froid tout de même mais rien de désagréable. Il y a trois toilettes au deuxième étage et qu’une seule douche mais ce n’est pas un inconvénient car personnellement je ne fais que me doucher aux onsens. La cuisine est fonctionnelle et la salle de vie commune très charmante. Le joli jardin également est agréable à regarder sous la neige. Merci beaucoup je reviendrai sans hésiter !

L’établissement Book & Guesthouse Hitotomaru vous accueille à Toyooka, à 700 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Takenohama Beach. Petit déjeuner superbe. A deux pas de la mer. Keisuke est attentionné et accueillant. Nous regrettions de ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps! Merci beaucoup.

L’établissement Shironoshita Guesthouse se trouve à Himeji, à respectivement 31 km et 31 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Omiya Hachiman Shrine et Miki History Museum. The house was was very clean, comfortable and well organized. A special mention goes to Tomo-san, my boyfriend and I suffered from food poisoning and weren't able to move to the next location, Tomo-san let us stay one more day even though that day was a festivity and the guesthouse was supposed to be closed. He really saved us and showed us what is the meaning of hospitality and generosity. I can only reccomand Shironoshita Guesthouse for all those who want to experience the true Japanese hospitality and warmth.

The friendly welcoming staff who took us on a tour of the attached movie theatre. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in so far. The unique character and charm of the screening room.

The location of the property is within walking distance to the attraction places. Unless you have car, 10 to 20 minutes walking distance is acceptable. The property itself is well equipped and you just bring in your stuff and can stay there for a short break like your home. The property itself is a detached single story traditional house, and is a live show case about local Japanese culture. The owner also displays promotion materials about the local environs which suitable for new comer like us in the local community. The property is a quiet place. Having said that, depends on your requirement of "quiet", the property is adjoining to a main county road which means cars are passing through day and night, though not frequent. The owner is a nice gentleman and willing at all time to give you a helping hand in providing advices in the local community such as traveling, dining and sight seeing. To a traveler, a clean, comfort and safe place to stay is essential to release of uncertainty. The property and the owner do this well.

We never did indoor camping before. It was awesome. Great location: 1 step from the beach. No crowds. Great host, very helpful! Perfectly clean.
