The house is beautiful and in a nice neighbourhood. We got a warm welcome and enjoyed the stay very much. The view into the garden was like in the picture - lovely. The tatami-room was elegant and cozy. We were happy to enjoy the hospitality of the host family. Arigatou gouzaimasu!

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans cette guest house. Dela-san est une personne très gentille et serviable, qui apprécie également discuter avec les voyageurs. Je recommande totalement à toutes les personnes souhaitant visiter Morioka.

The host was super friendly! It had a homely feel and I felt very comfortable here. We also had a BBQ together on the front deck!

I was so impressed by the hospitality at this place! The oweners have such a warm welcome and friendly! It's location is great to travel around temples in Hiraizumi! The facility is so clean and Japanese tatami room was so cozy! Moreover, the breakfast was so delicious!

Le couple qui tient l'auberge est d'une gentillesse sans pareil. Cela va au-delà de la simple hospitalité japonaise. Ils sont aux petits soins pour vous. Ils sont même en train d'apprendre l'anglais afin de mieux communiquer avec les touristes internationaux ! La nourriture est très bonne et faite maison. Il y a plein de commodités autour de l'auberge. Le gérant propose toujours de vous déposer en voiture au Park Hirosaki. L'auberge en elle-même vous fait vous sentir comme dans une maison familiale.

L’établissement Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse se trouve à Matsushima, à respectivement 23 km et 400 mètres de ces lieux d’intérêt : Sendai City Community Support Center et Entsuin Temple. Aside from the proximity to the waterfront and all of Matsushima's main attractions, the owner of the guest house is really friendly, great to chat to and had plenty of good recommendations for the local area. Great value, comfortable and welcoming. I'll happily be staying at Uchi guesthouse again the next time I'm in the area.

Amazing accommodation. We had a huge 20 mat room, with AC and fan. The host was wonderful - so helpful and so willing to communicate by means of phone translator. She organised us a taxi to Mt Gassan 8th station. Food was fab. Hope to return to do more of the local pilgrimage routes. Mt Kaguro is on the doorstep.

The exceptional thing about this hostel is how the staff actively made an effort into welcoming travellers, Japanese and international into a temporary family. They helped with starting conversation and organizing dinner for staff and guests, and it just works. 11/10 staff experience for me. The atmosphere is great because of it too. Other than that it is just a nice little guest house with a couple of rooms, better showers than usual and everything I needed for my stay.

Exceptionally beautiful and homey space, with a convenient parking space right in front of the house. Enjoyed hotpot dinner at home after getting ingredients from the large supermarket at the next block.
