Impeccably clean and incredibly pleasant to stay in. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the small fridge was a great bonus. The entire complex is simply stunning – beautifully maintained and full of character. And the breakfast… the pumpkin porridge and sandwiches will stay in my heart forever — absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Oh, and just to add — the thin mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I had a 10/10 quality sleep!

This is a restored and expanded traditional Korean house that offers bed and breakfast, with cultural experience. It is ran by a retired university professor and his wife with passion. The wife, while still active in her career, is also the lady host the of house. She engaged us during breakfast and showcased to us her peronal collection of traditonal Korean costumes and musical instruments. The room we stayed in has ensuite toilet, not usual for a traditional Korean house. The house is in the bustling old town area with many cafe, restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to the Gyeongju monuments.

Breakfast felt like what I imagine it would feel like coming back home to Korea (I was born in Korea, raised in the U.S.)--it was fresh, filling, and prepared with love. The location was also conveniently located to many restaurants, cute little shoppes, and other tourist-y attractions. This was, hands down, my husband's and my favorite part of our Korea trip (we traveled throughout the country: 서울, 부산, 졔주) and one of the main reasons why is because of this stay and its host. We will definitely request to stay with this host when we visit 경주 again.

The room is very clean and new towels are provided every day. The guesthouse is a short walk from the main historical site and a variety of other attractions, restaurants and bars. There are also regular buses from the end of the road.

If you’re looking for an authentic traditional Korean hanok experience, this is the place! First of all, the host was amazing, super helpful and took the time to explain everything about the local area, even helping me create a daily itinerary. He assisted me with ordering a taxi, gave me coffee for the road, and kindly offered an early check-in. Despite there not being many photos of the room, the experience as a solo traveler in the single room was fantastic. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the host provided everything I needed, including a free breakfast. I totally recommend this place, 10/10.

Located 1 km from Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal, Hanok Raon 한옥 라온 is a guest house in a traditional Korean residential building offering guest rooms with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and air conditioning. Perrrfect. The space is clean, owners are super nice. Was able to leave our luggages after checkout. We even checked in one hour earlier than mentioned. Owner cleaned the wheels of our luggages by herself ㅠㅠ Thank you a lot again!
