A terrace with an outdoor lounge, with a lot of plants and decoration from local craft. The host Samanti has made much effort to make a cosy place of the homestay. Very quiet place - you hear only the sound of birds. Tea, coffee and drinking water the whole day. Extensive and delicious breakfast and dinner. The husband is also tuktukdriver. Both are very friendly, sincere and caring. They make the house to a little paradise in Sigiriya.

Excellent clean room, friendly welcome. Nice fresh juice on arrival. Better than the pictures! Very nice new AC, great bathroom with hot showers, really good mosquito nets with elastic edging. Set well back from the lorry and bus filled busy main road with really nice views across to the hills, was very tranquil. Can sit out the front of your room or there was the covered eating area with dartboard. Re-opened 7 months ago and the new owners are doing a great job. Included breakfast with fruit, toast and eggs. Would thoroughly recommend this place if staying in dambulla, great value and as mentioned before, away from the busy main road.
