The owners are beautiful people and were very polite, smiley and helpful. We asked for suggestions to go to Chichén Itzá with a guide, they arranged it for us with Josh, awesome guy and great guide. They frequently checked in asking if I needed anything. They have lots of good advice on activities, restaurants, and ATMs. Clean and comfortable room, with good AC. Loved having water, coffee, and fruit readily available throughout the day. The pool was a nice perk in the heat of the day. Right down the street from the bus station and colectivos, and really close to the main square and Calle de los Frailes. They also let me store my bag after I checked out, which was such a help as it was a very hot day and my bus didn't leave until 1pm.

The rooms are actually a sideline for the art gallery in front, but honestly, on their own, the rooms are beautifully appointed and chic, comfortable and cool, modern yet appreciative of the rich history and culture of the area. BOOKS! The staff was more than welcoming - owner Luca made me coffee and chatted like an old friend. The location also cannot be beaten - mere blocks away from the action, but you’ll hear roosters and the occasional dog, not buses and hawkers.
