The host was super friendly and he treated us to amazing local food in the morning (roti canai, and some other pastries). I accidentally left my jacket at the hotel, and he drove all the way to the airport to return it to me. He was so kind.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Langkawi Country Lodge. Mama and Papa and all staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, there was filtered water available, scooter hire, washing services, room cleaning services when needed. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach, but was off the main road so it was quiet. The place had a calm, quiet energy. We can’t wait to visit again.

The beds are comfy and everything is clean. We loved the surroundings and the shared area to hang out and meet new people. There are restaurants nearby and you can walk to the main part of Langkawi with a lot of restaurants and 2 beaches. You can also rent a scooter and explore the nature of Langkawi. Dee (the host) is amazing, fun and really helpful. We had a great time at Pondok Keladi and would definitely recommend to stay here.

The hospitality here is unmatched and you will be in for a wonderful time. This place is run by a small family, Zuliati and Faisal along with their little and lovely kids. We were pleasantly surprised to have witnessed every attention to detail put in by them at this place. They have 3 tree houses and another 3 villas within the same compound. And since they live within the compound, you will be welcomed like being part of their family. We were so happy to have received local snacks each morning made by Zuliati for the guests. If you're looking for more than just a place to sleep, and want to experience the genuine warmth of Langkawi's people, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

The place was very clean, which is the most important thing. Owner was super patience and friendly, even reminded me of my forgotten stuff. You can find lots of convenience stores, cafe/restaurants nearby. Price was very affordable as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay around Kulim.
