It was great! The toilet and bathroom are in the ground floor, so expect stairs up and down, but no problem for me.

It’s located right by the ferry and overlooks the lovely harbor and scenic views of Skrova island. The place itself is very authentic, rustic and delightfully designed with tasteful touches like a Nordic boutique hotel but without the fuss. The hotel co-owner and manger Monica is really lovely and treats her guests and staff equally well. She was always warm and accommodating (for early check in and late checkout), which I really appreciated. I somehow felt very much at home with the warmth of the staff and the ambiance of the property. Easy to get to hiking and beaches nearby, and food at the restaurant was well played prepared. I would have gladly stayed longer but hope to be back again soon.

Guests at the homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Fredvang, like hiking. We had plans to watch the midnight Sun on one of the trials but, once we arrived, we were recommended by the hosts a different hike only known to the locals and we had the best landscape view of our lives above the clouds. We reckon we would have missed the midnight Sun if we had stick to our plans because of the weather On the way back, after checkout, they drove us back to the bus point so that we could take the flight back in time. Facilities were crystal clean: bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Hosts were always eager to help, we could borrow some food from them since we were running out after a week of hitchhiking
