Wow, we loved our stay with Amur and his family at the Desert Heart Camp. We didn't have a 4x4, so he met us and drove us first to his village for some coffee and dates, and then we had so much fun going dune bashing. Amur arranged for us a camel ride for the sunset and it was lovely. We were the last two staying at the camp before he closed for the season but you wouldn't have known it as we were treated so well. His children are precious. We made traditional bread over the fire and dinner was absolutely delicious! The open-fire grilled camel meat was tasty! We waddled to bed full and drifted off to sleep to the wind blowing through the tent. Breakfast was great and my husband enjoyed his second coffee walking around the dunes. We then left the desert oasis to continue on our journey, taking with us some wonderful memories of our time with this sweet family. Thank you Amur!

Cette maison d'hôtes 4 étoiles propose une piscine extérieure ainsi que des hébergements dotés de la climatisation, d’une connexion... We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sand House. The location was great, super easy to get to with a sedan, and it's right at the end of the dunes, so it was a nice walk to see the sunset. The rooftop was a lovely place to just take in the views and enjoy the sunrise. The house had all the amenities/facilities you need. We didn't cook, but the kitchen had everything you'd need to cook/have a meal. The pool! We enjoyed night swimming/taking a dip in the pool, which was nice and refreshing amidst the desert heat. Special thanks to Camarol, who was fantastic from pre-check in until check out. The entire house was absolutely spotless, he patiently answered all our questions, and made us the most delicious breakfast. Wish we stayed longer, but definitely pinning this location for the future!
