This was without a doubt the best accommodation we had during our entire trip to the Philippines. The house itself is spectacular – beautifully decorated, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and there’s even an aqua service inside. And the views… simply unbeatable! Lee and Rufi are truly wonderful hosts. They carried our backpacks up to the house, prepared delicious breakfasts every morning (worthy of a resort!), and were always ready to give us tips or help with anything we needed. They even lent us a dry bag for our island hopping tour. We honestly have no words to describe how hospitable and kind they were. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

It is even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. We stayed here for like 10 days. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The hospitality is amazing. They arranged a brand new bike for us, ordered pizza’s for us and gave us coffee when we asked for it during the day. The breakfast is really good, even the best we had during our stay in the Philippines and we liked the fresh fruits a lot that came with the breakfast. On the bike it is a like a 10 minute drive to El Nido center. We loved it to stay in this quiet area. Lio beach was our favorite beach in El Nido and it was a 5 minute drive from Casa Buko. Thank you so much to Rose, her husband, sister and Vera for making this place feeling like home ❤️

I love this place, from the moment I went through the gate I felt that this place is something special. I didn't expected a to find a place like that. The owner gave me an upgrade which was really kind. I was the only guest for that time so I felt like a VIP. During this time I spend a lot with the owner Dean. And I wanna say a special thank to Dean for this amazing time. I had the possibility to spend the whole time with Dean and his friend Christoph (also lives at Bucana Beach). Because of Dean we had a private boot and went to Nacpan Beach for snorkeling and barbecue. Also a special thank you to Chris (the cook, the driver and men for everythingI for driving me everywhere and to Shirley, she guided me through this time. Through Shirley I had the possibility to give a free dance workshop in High school from Bucana. I get touched with the locals which was amazing. If you are looking for a place to find peace, this place is definitely one of the best place on earth. Thank you Dean, Shirley, Chris and his son and Christoph for this amazing time which will always be in my heart and I will never forget! I didn't thought that a vacation turn into making friends! Everything is just walking distance. Though it is located in the main street, you won't hear the noice as it is in the inner street. They are also very responsive to our requests. Only 2 outlet in the room so we asked for an extension cord that they immediately provide. We are supposed to check out on May 28, 12pm but since our bus to Puerto Princesa is not until 9pm so I asked if we can extens our stay until 8pm which was granted straight away for an additional cost of 500 pesos. I also like the fact that they have a water refilling and coffee station. Feels like home. Will definitely book this place again when visiting El Nido.
