From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem! The location could not be better – easy parking right by the property, just a pleasant stroll into town, perfectly situated for exploring the entire island, and conveniently close to a large supermarket. We always felt completely safe here, which added so much peace of mind to our holiday. The cleanliness is simply impeccable – everything spotless and fresh, every day. The entire place is beautifully organized, with a layout that makes it feel both spacious and homely. The kitchen is especially well thought out: each room has its own assigned table, cupboard, and set of plates, utensils, and cooking items, which keeps things wonderfully neat and easy for everyone. And then there is Catarina – what a host! She is truly the heart of this place. Warm, sincere, and full of genuine care, she puts her soul into making her guests feel welcome and valued. She visits daily to tidy and refresh the common areas, replace the flowers, and, more often than not, surprise guests with delicious homemade or local treats. She is thoughtful, adaptable, and always ready to help – whether it’s offering great local tips or simply checking in via message to see if we needed anything. We felt so looked after and appreciated her kindness enormously. The property itself feels like a peaceful haven – quiet, comfortable, and infused with warmth and charm. Everything here has been designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and you can feel the love and pride that goes into it. We travel often, but this stay will remain a highlight for us. If you’re looking for a spotless, perfectly located, safe, and beautifully run accommodation with a host who truly cares, look no further – this is the place! We would return in a heartbeat.

L’établissement Solar dos Cantos Botanic House & Garden se trouve à Ponta Delgada, à 13 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Pico do Carvão. Super accueil. Nous avons même reçu un message la veille via WhatsApp pour nous annoncer la disponibilité de la chambre et nous avons vu communiquer avec l'hôtel. Hôtel très propre. Tout est beau et fait avec beaucoup de goût. Très beau jardin arboré incluant piscine et jacuzzi. Wifi partout dans l'établissement (même à la piscine) qui fonctionne très bien.

Everything was great: super clean, very nice mattress (could do with a second pillow), location was great and the staff cared for our breakfast - it was excellent. Thank you so much!

Welcoming for a several day stay.

L’établissement DMCharme se situe à Ponta Delgada, à 12 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Pico do Carvão. Il offre une vue sur la ville et possède un salon commun et une terrasse. wow, wow, WOW! Honestly, walking in there I could not believe this place. I actually thought - did I really book this place?? First of all, the communication with the owner already before my arrival was friendly, fast, caring. I was welcomed at the door with a smile, Daniel helped to carry my bag and showed me around the house. I felt so welcomed and at home. Also, like a queen walking up the red carpeted staircase with golden mirrors and paintings! This place is really wild (in the best way). My room was comfortable, good size, huge bed with many pillows, water carafe, spacious wardrobe... And I haven't even mentioned the huge bathroom and kitchen, both so well equipped and organized. Honestly, I have never been to a hotel/hostel/questhouse, where there is such an attention to detail. The daily cleaning is done with such care. You can see they have really thought about everything to make sure you have a really comfortable stay. I couldn't have made it better myself! There is also a laundromat next door (takes only cash - 4,5€ for wasing, 2€ for drying) and a supermarket within 5 min walk

Emmanuel provided us with a perfect guide to the whole island. Super communicative and very attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay when visiting the Azores!!
