Yhe staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day. The place is designed so beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped so we could coock our meals. There was even a nice terrace for some peace and quiet. We highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. You can truly feel that every corner of the building was created with love and care. Carlos is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind, we felt so happy and welcomed. The room was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The terrace was spacious, relaxing, and well-sheltered from both wind and sun. On top of that, the location is super convenient: there’s a great bakery just a couple of hundred meters away, lots of restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and the train/bus station nearby. It’s only a few minutes to walk to the beach and marina, and it's also quiet at night. We loved everything here, especially the host! If I could rate this place 10/10, I’d rate Carlos 100/10. 😊 Thank you so much for having us!

They both warmly welcomed us with a wide smile, alongside some cute gifts, a cool Praxis beer and many treats for our dog... and a puppy bed that served as a soft pillow. It's not easy to find amazing stays that are truly pet-friendly as well. Location-wise, it's walking distance from Coimbra's downtown though it might still be better to use a car since it's a bit of a climb. There's a supermarket, a few cafés, and most points-of-interest south-west of the river close-by. The room has it own entrance and a small patio, which is convenient (Susana lived upstairs), and it was very cozy and well decorated. While it does not have a kitchenet per-se, it actually felt more like an apartment, and would be great for shorter stays or those looking to eat out more often (the city has tons of great restaurants). The microwave and coffee-maker should fulfill most needs.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Though out-of-the-way if you're walking the Camino, it is well worth it for the experience. We hiked to Condeixa-a-nova and took a taxi to the location. We were greeted by the owner, Tino, who was very friendly, gracious, and hospitable. Our room was great with a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a balcony to sit outside. The kitchen, dining room and living room were lovely and everything very, very clean. It is out in the country with a huge olive grove all around and other trees and plants. Very relaxing setting. I highly recommend this place. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and are so glad we did.
