A fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware are also provided, as well as a coffee machine. At the homestay, all units come with bed linen and towels. Quiet, spacious and wonderful hosts. They took the time to show us around the property. Very friendly hosts. They gave us great recommendations for dinner places. We enjoyed the pool, and we even had a taste of fruits they grow on their property. The family room was spacious for 5 people, beds are very comfortable and bathroom is gorgeous. The continental breakfast was served with homemade jams they make themselves. Lots of personal touches which we loved. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Boasting an infinity pool and views of pool, Quinta do Monte Travesso - Country Houses & Winery is a guest house set in a historic building in Tabuaço, 25 km from Douro Museum. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We stayed in casa sousão on Quinta do monte Travesso. The house itself is very private, with a short trip through an amazing vineyard and dirt road. Once you arrive, your view is just absolutely stunning. This is a perfect house for large family or 3 couples, each room has its own ensuite. The hosts of the Quinta are very friendly and accomodating, they will fill your fridge with everything you need from eggs, milk and ham and cheese. Every morning you will receive fresh bread for breakfast. They also leave a bottle of their amazing red wine on the dining table, but make sure you also try their white wines which are very easy to drink and will have you going back for a case. I can’t praise how much we loved staying here…book it and you won’t regret it!

The house is immaculate, so homely. A must stay if doing the Camino Interior, Ecopista do Corgo or the N2. I highly recommend staying here. 10/10

Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated guest house is located 35 km from Douro Museum and 46 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. The guest house has family rooms. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

The property has quiet street views and is 16 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 26 km from Natur Waterpark. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Beautiful house full of character and extremely well kept. Excellent position even being in a very quiet neighborhood.

Quinta Da Estrada Winery Douro Valley is situated in Peso da Régua and has a pool with a view and mountain views. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Loads of space. Room was large and comfortable. A little rustic as you would expect on a farm. Host Luis was warm and generous. He also gave good recommendations for a day drive and Douro viewpoints. We were able to just stroll around the farm and vineyards with a friendly dog leading the way. Wine tasting dinner was educational and a must try. We have no regrets about staying at the Quinta.

It was a beautiful location in heart of Douro Valley and the most fantastic hosts we’ve ever experienced. The 18th century home is stunning and bedrooms very comfortable and breakfast all home cooked. Paula and Carlos became like family in a short time and wish we had booked 3-4 nights rather than 2 AA so much to see from this location and we loved that the location was in the midst of a very local area.
