Only 200 metres from the Sava River, Hiša Aleš is set in the centre of Breg ob Savi. I stayed for just one night, but the hotel left a great impression, and I would definitely return. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived later than the scheduled check-in time. I contacted the hotel through WhatsApp and received a prompt and helpful response. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent—everything was fresh, the coffee was great, and the omelet was one of the best I've ever had. Special thanks to the staff, who were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Offering a restaurant, Guest house Pr Ambružarju & Apartments is located in Ambrož pod Krvavcem, 1,100 metres above sea level. Guests can enjoy views of a valley. My best stay in Slovenia! A last-minute booking turned out to be a hidden gem for someone who needed to get away and enjoy nature and the mountains, just a 40–50 minute drive from the capital. A stunning view on all over Slovenia, a big car park and very friendly and helpful hostess. The place is calm and quiet, with lots of walking and hiking options in nature, and the air is amazingly fresh. Delicious homemade breakfast with homemade syrups and lemonades for good start of a day, and fine local wine at the evening to round off a good day on a table on a mountainside.
