However, how much you like it, might depend on WHERE your room is located. Mine was on the 2nd floor opening up to a lovely outdoor terrace with views of palm trees and mountains. I'm sure the bottom floor rooms are just as nice, but it was this lovely terrace then! My room was incredibly nice, spacious and spotlessly clean. It's definitely worth staying at least 2 nights here. You can easily do a day trip to Hellfire pass by a local bus. In fact, if I KNEW about that bus, I would have booked 1 more night and done a day trip to Sai Yok Yai waterfall as well. This Homestay also has a restaurant and a convenience store out front, with local prices. Excellent Wifi as well, and it's run by Avery friendly family.

Hosts were more than helpful, they arranged transportation for us every time when we told them what we wanted to see. Breakfast is simple but very tasty. We can only recommend.

The care taker of the facility was amazing, she has a lot of heart for the guests. One night she saw me walking down the street in the rain and ran all the way over to give me an umbrella. She always made sure I had fresh towels and water and as a female solo traveler I have never felt more safe and happy than I did here.

My room was well equipped and had everything I needed as a solo traveller. Staff were great and clearly looking after the place. I would stay here again.
