Cleaning every morning. 15 min walk from the beach. 7/11 down the road (400 meters) and a delicious local Thai restaurant on the way (100 meters). The owner was very kind and friendly and spoke English. He let us store our bags for a couple hours after check out. Plus, he has lots of kittens!!

Lovely family business from wonderful and caring people. It’s a small operation with only 4 bungalows. The bungalows are spacious and clean and it was great to get breakfast on our balcony every morning. We loved the ‘surprise breakfast’ as it was never just standard eggs and toast but always something more creative. We were also very happy with the scooter we rented from them. They helped us book a trip to Hong Island and also a taxi and ferry ticket back to Krabi. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is a man-made paradise, we enjoyed our stay here so much, it was so peaceful and beautiful, we even saw hornbills flying around, villa's have a panoramic view onto a rice field and small pond, birds feast in the fields, it is central but not close to any major road so the noise doesn't bother, the only noise is sound of nature. We've used a scooter all over the island and saw the resorts for £120 / £60 per night, I can say that this is way better, let's imagine if all hotels would be for free on this island, I would still choose Bangmee, initially we had 2 nights booked here but we added more, look no further, you found the spot. The host is incredibly hospitable, and his daughter helped us a lot with all the local activities and ferry logistics. One evening we didn't want to stay at a restaurant, we just ordered food for takeaway and went back to this place. Try the coconuts, after multiple holidays across the world, they proved to be the best.

The town is authentic, not too small and not to big. But the best was definitely the trip in the Phang-Nga Bay that our lovely host organized for us. We had a longtailboat just for us, saw the sunrise in the bay, were at Bond Island before all the other tourists (lots of full boats arrived when we left the island), went to see the nice fishermans village on Panyee Island, we did a kajak tour, went through caves and mangroves. It is a special route, very private and we couldn't find something like this anywhere else, especially for the good price (about the same like from Phuket, but on full tourist boat). So thankful that we found Chai and could make this beautiful experience!
