Murat was very hospitable, walked with us through few streets, helped buy a public transport card, and provided with several spot on recommendations. The place was clean and stylish, with everything we needed. The neighborhood has a very unique feel, different than most other areas of Istanbul, we enjoyed exploring it a lot, and will stay here again when we are back.

Location is super easy and the ferry is super cheap. Great beaches and beautiful places to visit if you have a ride.

Nelly was so helpful and she s a kind women. The place was clean The location is close to istiklal street 10 minutes walk. She has a friendly cats. In general everything was absolutely good.

The location was very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spotless ! And the owners were really accommodating. Loved our little balcony. It is worth climbing the stairs for the balcony.

We came to the Marmara Guesthouse for a short stay in Istanbul where I had my PhD defense exam. I have lived in Istanbul several years but never really stayed in this part of the city. We loved it! It was very important for us to have a comfortable stay as the exam was already stressful enough. Marmara Guesthouse definitely made these important days memorable for me 😇 The location is in a quiet area and not in an immediate vicinity to bars etc. However one block away are restaurants and small shops. 👌 The distance to Sultanahmet attractions is short and the best part is the vicinity to the Kennedy-Allee by the Sea of Marmara. We warmly recommend a stroll here to observe the dolphins. 🥰 The breakfast was amazing with diverse sorts of cheese, fruit, veggies, meze, everything... The day before my exam I spent several hours on the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is normally served and studied. Sockets are available. I was offered to use the electric kettle to cook water for tea and coffee which was available for guests for free 😊 If we return to Istanbul we would stay here again.
