She offered to upgrade my room for free since there were kids staying next door to the room I’d booked but I choose to keep my original room as it felt cosier and faced the pond so I could hear all the different frogs at night. For those who want to get out of the city and see the animals of rural Taiwan, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
