I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

Located 13 km from Louisiana State Museum-Shreveport, Chateau DeVille of West Shreveport offers accommodation with a balcony. The room was large and in very good shape. They were on sight to help if anything was needed and to explan how to get in and out of the room. It felt like staying with family. Just perfect!

Coffee maker, microwave a small fridge and a big beverage fridge were handy ! We only stayed the one night as we were traveling through. Host was lovely, they live in the back in their own area separately. Porch is great to sit and have a coffee on.
