Warm atmosphere and friendly staff (which you can’t get in the usual big franchised hotels). The family suite was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenagers with a lovely private terrace and 2 separate bedrooms with Queen beds. Lots of cool restaurants close to the hotel.

Filtered water, coffee, sugar and basic pantry items were available for the guests. The fridge had a portion segregated for each room. The patio had a few chairs and umbrellas and was a great place to have coffee in the morning and relax in the evenings. Staff was always available in case we had any questions/issues. Featuring a garden, The Waltham: AirTrain & 5min to JFK offers accommodation in Queens, the guest house is also 7 km away from Arthur Ashe Stadium. Free WiFi is available. Great location, especially for an overnight to recover from a long haul flight/jet lag. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and everything was adjustable - lighting, temperature, etc. The bathroom is very modern and amazing. The instructions to find and enter the property were really helpful. There were snacks!

The room was clean and neat, and the check-in process was quick and easy. We really enjoyed the room and its amenities; everything we needed was provided. The staff was always available online to help with any questions. It’s in a great location, just a 15–20 minute walk to the Journal Square PATH station and about 10–15 minutes from supermarkets. Fast wi-fi :)
