Nguyen Shack Retreat Resort offers private bungalows in Phong Nha National Park. The property boasts a garden and lake view. The place is really tranquil. Everything from the pathways to the common areas, the rooms and the views. The dogs, cats and the piggies too. It almost looks like a place out of a fairy tale, makes you want to stay longer. The hosts are also very friendly and make an effort to guide all visitors, and socialize with them :)

The beds were comfy and the fluffy blankets were awesome. I ordered fried rice from the hostel and it was so good. Free breakfast was nice. Laundry service good. Bathroom in dorm was good.

It was comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location. The staff was very friendly and helped us book tours, busses, and bicycles. She booked us a bus to Phong Nha and it turned out to be a really nice vip sleeper bus and was a great price (way cheaper than 12GO!). She even drove us to the bus station on her bike and waited with us until our bus arrived. The wifi was excellent. Breakfast comes with lots of fruit and the cinnamon pancakes were delicious!
