From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and he even kindly gave us a lift to the shops which was such a thoughtful touch. The apartment itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had the most stunning sea views. The area is lovely with many great restaurants within walking distance which made it the perfect location. We would highly recommend Shiraz and his apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

Situé à seulement 450 mètres de la plage de sable blanc de Bloubergstrand, le Birkenhead Manor propose l'accès à une piscine, une terrasse bien exposée et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans l'ensemble... We were met by Gladys who was an amazing host. Breakfast was very good, with Gladys cooking anything you might want, whilst her sister made up our room. The room we had was very pleasant, good size and beds very comfortable.

Dernière étape de notre séjour en Afrique du Sud. L'acceuil a été très rapide et sympathique. Nous avons reçu l'ensemble des explications nécessaires à notre séjour. La chambre numéro 1 était belle, grande et propre avec une belle vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner était top et vous avez accès à un bar en libre service (avec indication de vos consommations sur une liste). Des fruits et de l'eau disponible gratuitement. L'espace extérieur avec piscine est propre et calme. Je recommande à 100%. De nombreux restaurants très bons et à des prix corrects à distance de marche. Nous avons également profité de service de massages à proximité et de la visite du vignoble Klein Roosboom à 25 minutes en Uber. Endroit bien fréquenté par les Uber et très sécurisé.

We stayed at this lovely guest house and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The property offers a stunning view — especially during sunrise and sunset — with the sea right in front creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh, delicious breakfast made with care, served in a peaceful setting overlooking the sea. The entire team working here deserves special mention — everyone was exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their genuine hospitality and positive energy made our stay truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with amazing views, great service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The owners, Sharl and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful offering tips for places to visit. What stood out to my wife and I were the excellent breakfast on offer. Jennifer made an English breakfast, but also offered an excellent omelette and at other times crepes. The garden at Mandalay Beach Guest House is so beautiful, but so is the whole property! We would recommend this Guest House for those looking for a quiet vacation spot that is within a 10 minute walk from the beach, and also close to Cape Town. Our stay of 12 nights were absolutely enjoyable, we will miss the hospitality and graciousness of Sharl and Jennifer.

Few minutes walk from the beach and a lovely restaurant for breakfast. Lovely view from the room, and could hear the sea when I went to sleep. Hosts went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Had access to use the entertaining area with my family so they could visit me at the accommodation.
