This personal touch really made a difference in my stay. The location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the beach and the town center, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Lider house hostel is formerly known as Gagarin house. I think the Gagarin people were professional hosteliers who knew what they were doing but something happened and they took off taking Gagarin's poster with them. The hostel has kept a great deal of their professionalism though. The location is perfect for exploring the coastline north of Varna, that is if you travel by car. There is a paid parking nearby. There was hot water and a washing machine. Beds were comfy. Nice urban environment. The owners had left the dorm without heating in solidarity with the people of Ukraine who will spend the winter having difficulties heating their homes because of the war. It made me more aware of the plight of the people of Ukraine.
