I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.

Most beautiful hostel in whole Ecuador for sure. Everything is made with love to the detail. I felt at home right away and the staff, dogs and cats were super nice. Good place to stay for a long time. The breakfast was also really good. It‘s really close to the beach so perfect for checking waves and surfing.

Omar’s hostel is a hidden gem for those who want to enjoy Montañita but still have a peaceful, authentic place to relax. Omar is such a kind, open, and experienced host – he shared great local tips, showed me around, and made sure I had the best time. The vibe is like staying with friends – super welcoming. I stayed in a colorful SpongeBob-themed room with blue, sea-inspired walls and a view of banana trees and singing birds. Just amazing. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, it’s close to town, and the private gym is a huge bonus for sporty travelers. Highly recommended!

Next to the beach, pool table, swimming pool, close to the center of town but very quiet place. Gloria and Ramon are very nice people. Loved this place.

The house is above the hill, allowing me to see the beach and the town from my balcony—very lovely. There is a small chair and a hammock on the balcony as well, perfect for relaxing. The room is spacious and very clean. I slept well and also had a table to work at in my room. There are five cats in the house, and they are absolutely adorable! 😺❤️They made my stay wonderful. The homeowner was super helpful; she reached out ahead of time to ensure I arrived smoothly, shared some delicious food she made with me, helped arrange transportation, and allowed me to check out late and use the bathroom since I had a late bus to catch. In summary, it’s a great place to stay within budget, and I will definitely come back!🤗
